Circle of Hope

Circle of Hope focuses on those aspects of the gospel of Jesus Christ that the church, at least in North America, has generally not taught well, with the result that believers don’t always know all that is ours in Christ, the depth of what Christ’s death and resurrection purchased for us, and the freedom and wholeness that are ours in Jesus. The focus of most of what you’ll find on this site is on Christ’s promise that “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10) and God’s promise that “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” (Galatians 5:1). It is our goal to post explanations of truths that will help believers to experience the fullness of both of these promises in their own lives. Each year since our beginning has seen more visitors to our site and more downloads from it. We hope this means that we are achieving our aim, which is to provide people with some understanding of things of the Christian faith that we wish it hadn’t taken us so many years to learn, so that others may grow in grace faster than we did. If you would like to see something specific on our site that isn’t there, please feel free to write to us and let us know what that is. Simply click the “Contact Us” button. A new article has been added this month, called “Christianity Is Such a Drag: Nothing but “Do This”, “Don’t Do That”. You will find it under the button “Articles”. It explores how true this idea is of both Christianity and of the non-Christian world, as well as the power of the “Do this, don’t do that” way of living in order to be a good person. For those of you who may be new to this website, it is posted by one family. Those of us providing the content for this site have followed Jesus for some 35 years and have a wealth of experience in Bible teaching, healing and deliverance, and pastoral care. Our web consultant/designer is also a member of our family. She has donated her services to this site, and we are grateful. Her specialty is affordable web pages for small organizations/businesses, and her web address is given at the bottom of this page for anyone who might be interested in high quality, reasonably priced web designs. We have received emails from various parts of the world asking if we can supply Bibles. Because we are one family with limited means, we cannot. However, what we have done is to design our entire website so that, where a Scripture reference is given, a footnote is also provided, giving the full text of the Scripture. Also, we periodically research the Internet for organizations whose ministry is to supply Bibles to those without, and we have added a button called "Free Bibles" where you can see what we have found. All materials in this website are copyrighted to the authors. However, permission is given to reproduce anything in this site on a “not for profit” basis provided credit is given to Circle of Hope. Reproduced materials may be sold to recoup the costs of reproduction, but not for profit. For quotes from anything on this site that will be reproduced in any book or other medium that will be sold for profit, the express written permission of Circle of Hope is required. Please email us at the address provided under the “Contact Us” button. All Bible quotations used in this website are from the New International Version unless otherwise specified. We invite input, and an email address has been provided. We have received emails from around the world and are grateful to hear that what we are offering is being beneficial to others. We continue to invite you to send questions, corrections, suggestions, even new articles. Be aware, though, that authors are not paid for articles published on this site. We also provide a private chat service. If anyone would like to talk with one of us, we can arrange to send you a password and a time so that we can get together and converse. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us at Circle of Hope.
